The bulk of this release is the introduction of 3T Training. Release notes and training for this can be found on www.support.3t.app. We have performed an internal assessment and concur that there has been no impact on clinical safety in this release.
The Portal
The way that users is created has received a slight change. Instead of selecting whether a client user can use the portal, the app, or both, Admins can now simply select which type of user they want to create – Admins or Team Members
Admins will have access to all areas of their assigned organisation(s)
Team Members will have access to the app for 3T Traceability and the portal for 3T Training
Stella codes will now be displayed in the portal, including the Stella Completion Code and the serial numbers for the IQ and Pulse units used
The number of filters applied to lists will now show against the “Filters” button in all cases
Clinical Departments will now show in alphabetical order whenever they are shown in a list
Fixed a reported issue where updating a Product System at global level caused an error
Fixed a reported issue where the portal wouldn’t realise a handset authorisation request had been made if the handset modal is kept open for too long
Updated date and time format of exported decontamination log cycles to better work with Excel formatting
Any voided logs will now show as voided when exporting the decontamination log from 3T
The App
iOS version 1.34.0 (4)
Android version 1.34.0 (4)
NFC scanning has been introduced as an alternative to manual selection or QR code scanning
The app will show a scanning icon on the login page, cycle page and check device page
Tapping on the icon will activate the scanner and the app will show it is actively scanning for NFCs
Team Members are able to write their own Staff ID on NFC cards and tags, to allow them to log in to the app that much quicker. To create their own log in card or tag, Team Members should tap on More, then Create My Login and follow the instructions on screen
Admins have the ability to write any Staff ID within their organisation, including their own, to an NFC card or tag, and they do this in much the same way as a Team Member would. Simple tap on More, then Write Staff ID Tag, select a staff member, then follow the instructions on screen
Admins can also write an NFC card or tag with the barcode number of any medical device in their organisation, which will allow people using the app to scan the NFC to start a decontamination cycle, rather than selecting it from a list. To do this, they must tap on More, then Write Medical Device Tag, select the relevant medical device and follow the instructions on screen
The UI colour when checking the status of a medical device has been updated to make it easier to tell the difference between checking a device and starting a decontamination cycle
Stella A, B and C is available and the app will scan the Stella Completion Code at the end of the process
Fixed a reported issue with the format of Stella completion codes when scanning or adding manually
Stella Completion Code is shown against relevant cycles on the cycle log pages
A new button has been added to the device log page to allow the user to start a new cycle without having to go back to the app dashboard
A new icon has been added to the cycle log page to show when cycles are being uploaded to 3T in the background. If users can see this icon, the app is syncing with 3T and the app should not be closed
If the app is closed while the app is syncing with 3T, the app will start syncing again the next time it is open and connected to the internet
