Release 2.2.7 (Zebra) - 26th March 2025
This release focuses mainly on the introduction of two new features – Leak Tests and Demo Mode
Demo Mode
We’ve added the ability for anyone to complete a fake decontamination cycle on the app at any time. The aim is to help Team Members be trained on how to use the platform without them creating real cycles in their organisations.
Any cycles completed in Demo Mode will not be saved anywhere in 3T.
Demo Mode can be accessed from the list view of Medical Devices when a decontamination cycle would normally be started. Tapping the Medical Device will begin a standard cycle. Long-pressing on the Medical Device will activate a pop-up, asking you whether you’d like to enter Demo Mode.
Tap yes to enter, or tap no to go back to the list view.
The user interface of the app will change to show an orange border when in Demo Mode, to make it clear that you’re not completing a real decontamination cycle.

All other aspects of the cycle are like real-life, including selecting clinical settings, product systems, scanning products and going through the step-by-step process of a decontamination.
At the end of the cycle, you’ll be shown a message letting you know that the cycle was not real, and you’ll be invited to either exit Demo Mode and return to normal, or to complete a new cycle in Demo Mode.
Please note that the orange border only shows after the Medical Device has been selected.
If you close the app mid-cycle, the app will no longer be in Demo Mode when it is re-opened.
Any cycle completed in Demo Mode does not get uploaded to 3T and will not show in any lists on either the app or the portal.
Leak Tests
What is a leak test?
A leak test is a pressure test carried out on single-lumen and non-lumen medical devices that should hold pressure when air is pumped into the single chamber. If the chamber holds its pressure it has passed, if not, the leak test has failed and the medical device should either be repaired or disposed of.
We’ve added the functionality to allow Leak Test results to be recorded
prior to a cycle and reviewed in the web portal.
Certain conditions must be met in order for you to see and use this feature:
You must be completing 3T decontamination cycles in the mobile app.
You must be using one of the following medical device types:
Cystoscopes
Hysteroscopes
Bronchoscopes
Nasendoscopes
Endoscopes
TOE Probes
This feature must also be activated by a Sales Rep or 3T support.
The leak test is recorded in the app before beginning your decontamination cycle, and results can be viewed in the web portal.

When recording a leak test on a compatible device you are presented
with a question and given 3 options:

No
The Leak Test Failed - This result will end the cycle and record the result as a Leak test failure in the Medical device records. The app will return to the home screen.
Yes
The Leak Test Passed – You will then continue to the decontamination cycle as normal. The record will reflect a completed and passed leak test.
N/A
A leak test was not completed/skipped - You will then continue to the decontamination cycle as normal. The record will reflect a skipped leak test.
The Portal
Improved the speed of certificate image generation by no longer rendering the actual certificate the user will receive
The App (Version 1.39.1)
Implemented the Demo Mode
Fixed a reported issue where cycles recorded on old versions of the app were not syncing if they had been edited prior to gaining internet access.
Implemented hard limits on 3T app version, preventing users from being able to use app versions that are no longer supported.
