Add a Medical Device

Medical devices in 3T represent the medical devices to be disinfected. You need to add at least one medical device to start disinfection cycles within the mobile app.

1. Within the 3T portal, select Medical Devices in the navigation menu.

2. Click Add device.

3. Add the Device Tag ("nickname" to refer to the device), Serial Number, and Barcode Number.

If you're planning on scanning your device barcodes in the 3T app, it must match the code entered into the Barcode Number field.

Tristel recommends using the serial number that comes with your medical devices if you're unable to print your own barcodes.

4. Add the Device type, Manufacturer, and Model.

5. Select which Clinical Setting the device is used in, and which Tristel products will be used for the disinfection cycle.

6. Click the Submit new device button. This medical device will sync to all 3T Traceability handsets and staff can start tracking cycles on the device right away.
